Staying at San Miguel Arcangel was quite an experience. The balcony room provided breathtaking views of the convent and the town square, perfect for capturing the sunrise. I loved the spaciousness and tranquility of the room. The inner courtyard had charming decor and was a peaceful spot to relax. I appreciated the complimentary coffee and toast in the morning, a delightful surprise amid the beauty of Izamal. However, the shower proved to be a challenge. It was cramped and difficult to keep water from splashing everywhere, which detracted from the comfort of my stay. Another downside was the lack of clear communication regarding when the electricity would be turned off after leaving the room. These inconveniences were noticeable but didn't overshadow the joy of exploring this beautiful yellow city.

Hotel offers a lovely garden area.

We faced a total lack of communication, specifically regarding breakfast arrangements. Staff at the restaurant were extremely unhelpful and rude, making our dining experience dreadful. Moreover, I discovered maintenance issues in our room that severely affected our comfort during the stay.

this was a fantastic stay at san miguel arcangel for our anniversary, way better than our last visit! the balcony room gave us an amazing view of the convent and surrounding plaza, which made our time truly special. plus, the breakfast in the courtyard was a delightful start to each day.

I loved my balcony room that overlooked the plaza. it was spacious and super quiet, making my stay really enjoyable.
